My Story

Why The Breathing Nest?

Everyone needs a safe space to rest, release, and come back to themselves. For me, The Breathing Nest is more than just a name, it’s a hub of energy, a sanctuary where we can pause, breathe, and return to life through deep rest and healing.

The Journey

My path to this work began in 2016, after experiencing burnout and realising I needed to find a different way of living. That search led me on a yoga retreat and opened the door to practices that would change the course of my life - Reiki, Sekhem, sound therapy, and the wisdom of the breath. Along the way I also trained as a death doula and celebrant, supporting people in palliative care and even leading funerals, holding space at some of life’s most tender moments.

My Practice Today

During Covid, The Breathing Nest was born. What started as small breathing circles soon expanded into Reiki for those in palliative care, classes at local centres, and eventually the deeply transformative Reiki, Sekhem, and Sound Healing sessions I now offer. Each of these experiences affirmed the need for a place where people can rest, rebalance, and reconnect - especially in times of uncertainty and change.

A Space for You

At The Breathing Nest, my intention is to create a nurturing space where you can let go, soften, and reconnect with your own inner wisdom. Whether through energy work, sound, or simply the power of stillness, this is your invitation to rest, restore, and come back home to yourself.
